In the past 30 days, Chainlink has risen from fourth place to second place in terms of development activity rankings. However, Hedera (HBAR) still holds the top position in the crypto space for development activity.
Santiment has provided a list of the top coins by development frequency, with Hedera at the top and Chainlink now in the second position. The list includes various projects such as Optimism (OP), Dfinity (ICP), Cardano (ADA), Ethstatus (SNT), Cosmos (ATOM), Zksync (ZK), Starknet (STRK), and Aptos (APT).
When focusing on ERC-20 projects, Chainlink stands out as the leader in recent development activity, with 560.6 notable GitHub events in the past 30 days. This places Chainlink ahead of Status (SNT), which recorded 385.97 events. Status aims to provide users with a secure messaging app, crypto wallet, and web3 browser through an open-source, peer-to-peer protocol and end-to-end encryption.
The high level of development activity indicates a strong belief in the Chainlink protocol among developers, according to Santiment. As of the time of writing, Chainlink is trading at $14.41, with a slight increase of more than 1% in the last 24 hours.
