The CEO of Strike, a Bitcoin wallet and payments app, Jack Mallers, has made a bold prediction that Bitcoin could reach one million dollars by the end of 2025. In an interview with Daniela Cambone, Mallers explained his reasoning behind this projection.
Mallers believes that the US government will begin printing money to address its massive $34.577 trillion debt. He argues that this excessive money printing will lead to the devaluation of the currency and, as a result, investors will flock to Bitcoin as a safe store of value. This increased demand will cause the price of Bitcoin to skyrocket, potentially reaching seven figures by November 2025.
Mallers also expressed his opinion on the actions of politicians, stating that they are unlikely to directly harm the economy or people’s livelihoods. Instead, he believes they will offer promises of “free stuff” to win votes and attempt to fill the deficit caused by the growing debt.
When asked about his specific price predictions for Bitcoin, Mallers stated that he believes it could range from $250,000 to $1 million. However, he emphasized the difficulty of pricing an asset in a currency that is being actively debased by politicians who lack a complete understanding of the financial system. Mallers is confident that Bitcoin will easily reach $250,000 and sees the possibility of it reaching $1 million within the next 18 months.
At the time of writing, Bitcoin is trading at $68,405, showing a nearly 2% increase in the last 24 hours.
