Elon Musk Dismisses Bloomberg’s Report on His Crypto Advice to Donald Trump

Elon Musk has categorically denied recent claims that he engaged in discussions about cryptocurrency with former US president Donald Trump. In a social media post on platform X, Musk dismissed the report as unfounded. While Musk generally supports endeavors that shift power from the government to the people, he asserts that he has never discussed crypto with Trump. Furthermore, Musk refutes another report from The Wall Street Journal suggesting that he is being considered for an advisory role in the event of a Trump presidency. Musk clarifies that there have been no discussions regarding such a role. These reports surface at a time when Trump is seeking the support of the crypto community in his quest to return to the White House. Despite previously criticizing digital assets, referring to Bitcoin as a scam against the US dollar, Trump recently announced that he is open to accepting crypto donations for his campaign. He has also expressed disapproval of President Joe Biden and U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission Chairman Gary Gensler’s stance on digital assets.
